Before and After School Care (Jagaan Sebelum dan Selepas Sekolah)

AzZahra Child Care Service menyediakan perkhidmatan jagaan sebelum dan selepas sekolah khas kepada kanak-kanak Islam yang pertama di kawasan Jelutong bagi sesi persekolahan 2011.


Anda mempunyai masalah tiada penjaga bagi anak yang bersekolah?
Anak anda berumur dalam lingkungan 7 hingga 12 tahun?
Mencari pusat jagaan bagi kanak-kanak Islam?

Pada masa kini, sudah menjadi kebiasaan dalam sesebuah keluarga di mana ibubapa bekerja. Sama ada bekerja waktu pejabat ataupun secara ‘shift’. Oleh itu pastinya ibubapa memerlukan pembantu untuk menjaga anak yang masih bersekolah. Lebih-lebih lagi anak yang berusia bawah 12 tahun.


Ada beberapa penyelesaian kepada masalah ini antaranya mengambil orang gaji (sudah tentu pekerja asing), menghantar pada datuk/nenek atau menghantar pada pusat jagaan.


Malangnya bukan semua daripada kita mampu menggaji pekerja asing. Andai kata ibubapa berkemampuan sekalipun ‘maid’ ini tidak mampu membantu anak-anak kita melakukan kerja sekolah. ‘Maid’ ini lebih ditugaskan kepada kerja-kerja rumah seperti mengemas rumah, membasuh, memasak dan sebagainya. Oleh itu, walaupun ibubapa berkemampuan menggaji pembantu rumah, ada masalah berkaitan anak yang bersekolah masih belum dapat diselesaikan.


Pilihan seterusnya ialah menghantar pada datuk atau nenek tidak bekerja ataupun sudah bersara. Biasanya ini adalah pilihan yang terbaik tetapi tidak semua dari kita mempunyai ibubapa yang tinggal berdekatan. Maka perlu ada pihak yang membantu ibubapa supaya ibubapa masih dapat bekerja untuk mencari nafkah tanpa mengabaikan kebajikan anak-anak yang masih bersekolah.


Bagaimana kami dapat membantu anda?
Kami menyediakan perkhidmatan jagaan sebelum atau selepas sekolah khas bagi kanak-kanak Islam yang berumur 7 hingga 12 tahun. Perkhidmatan ini sebagai jalan penyelesaian kepada ibubapa-ibubapa yang bekerja dan mementingkan kebajikan anak-anak mereka. Semasa di pusat jagaan ini, kanak-kanak akan melakukan aktiviti-aktiviti yang telah dirancang bagi mengisi masa sebelum mereka ke sekolah ataupun pulang ke rumah. Antara aktiviti yang telah disediakan ialah Kelas Al-Quran dan Fardu Ain, Kelas ‘Homework Guidance’, Kelas ‘3M’ dan sebagainya.


Perkhidmatan ini disediakan 5 hari seminggu (Isnin hingga Jumaat) dalam dua sesi, iaitu ‘Morning Session’ bermula sewal 7.30 pagi hingga 12.30 tengahari. Dan ‘Afternoon Session’ bermula 1.00 petang hingga 6.00 petang.


Kanak-kanak akan diberi makanan sebelum ke sekolah bagi ‘Morning Session’ dan selepas pulang dari sekolah bagi ‘Afternoon Session’. Makanan disediakan secara seimbang sesuai bagi membantu pertumbuhan kanak-kanak. Selain itu tiada perisa (monosodium glutamate / MSG) yang akan digunakan dalam makanan kanak-kanak kerana bahan ini sekiranya digunakan secara berlebihan boleh memberi kesan buruk pada kesihatan kanak-kanak.


Di mana lokasi kami?
Pusat kami terletak di Vantage Point (Jelutong) di mana berdekatan dengan beberapa buah sekolah seperti Sekolah Kebangsaan Jelutong, Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Jelutong Barat, Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Jalan Hamilton dan Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Convent Green Lane. Selain itu pusat ini mempunyai dua jalan masuk yang utama iaitu Jalan Jelutong dan Jalan Perak. Ibubapa yang tinggal di kawasan sekitar dan bekerja di Georgetown pasti akan melalui lokasi pusat kami.


Berapa yang anda perlu bayar untuk perkhidmatan ini?
Kami mengenakan yuran RM200 sebulan untuk setiap kanak-kanak. Yuran ini adalah serendah RM2 SEJAM dan amat berpatutan berbanding dengan kualiti yang kami berikan dan amanah yang dipikul. Pengangkutan kanak-kanak dari sekolah ke pusat jagaan ataupun dari pusat jagaan ke sekolah juga boleh diatur.

Doa Memohon Ditambah Ilmu



Maksudnya: “... Ya Tuhanku, tambahkanlah kepadaku ilmu pengetahuan.”
(Al Qur’an an Terjemahnya, Surah Thahaa ayat 114)


Keterangan dan pengajaran dari ayat di atas:
Menurut al-Tibi, ayat ini mempunyai kaitan dengan ayat yang sebelumnya. Allah s.w.t. menunjukkan kekuasaan-Nya yang menimbulkan rasa kagum kepada sesiapa yang memahami ayat-ayat Allah. Disebabkan perkara itu, maka agungkanlah Allah dan bersungguh-sungguhlah untuk menghafaz ayat-ayat-Nya tetapi jangan tergopoh-gapah.


Nabi s.a.w. pada peringkat awal diturunkan wahyu sentiasa mengikut Jibril a.s. membaca al-Quran sebelum Jibril berhenti. Perkara ini dilakukan oleh Nabi kerana takut Jibril akan pergi sebelum baginda dapat mengikut kesemuanya. Allah s.w.t. menurunkan ayat ke-114 untuk menegur kesilapan Nabi s.a.w. itu kerana ia mungkin menyebabkan Nabi tidak dapat mengikuti apa yang akan dibacakan seterusnya. Kemudian Allah s.w.t. mengajar Nabi s.a.w. agar berdoa meminta Allah menyemarak dan menambahkan ilmu baginda.
(Tafsir Ruhil Ma’ani, tafsir ayat ke-114 surah Thaha)


Selain itu, menurut al-Imam Ibn Badis al-Sanhaji, hati tidak sekali-kali akan memperolehi apa yang sedang dipelajari sehinggalah lidah berhenti daripada berkata-kata. Dengan sebab itu, seseorang pelajar hendaklah mendiamkan diri daripada berkata-kata sama ada secara jelas atau berbisik semasa proses pembelajaran berlaku.

Oleh itu, adalah diharap para pelajar sekalian akan mengamalkan doa di atas bagi memohon kepada Allah s.w.t untuk mempermudah proses memperolehi ilmu seterusnya akan menambah ilmu pelajar-pelajar sekalian.

Simple Past Tense (Past Simple)

A brief about simple past tense for UPSR students.

We use the Simple Past:
1. We use simple past – of be – to talk about fact about the past.
Tun Dr. Mahathir was the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

2. We use simple past – of be – with place and time.
We were at Singapore in December.

3. We use simple past – of be – with adjective.
It was hot yesterday.
The bus was late again this morning.


4. We use simple past to talk about action or situation in the past which is finished.
Ali phoned me last night. He wanted to ask me about school homework.

5. We also use simple past to talk about something that continued for a period of time, and ended in the past.
Last month, Abu stayed in Kuala Lumpur for five days.

We form Simple Past like this:-

Positive form of the regular past
A. Regular verbs by adding –ed to the verb:
work → worked help → helped open → opened
B. Verbs ending with –e:
hope → hoped like → liked
C. Verbs ending with a consonant and –y:
try → tried reply → replied
D. Verbs ending with vowel (a, e, o) and –y:
play → played enjoy → enjoyed
E. Most verbs ending with one vowel and one consonant:
plan → planned stop → stopped slim → slimmed

Positive form of the irregular past
A. come → came ring → rang win → won

Positive form of be verb
A. I / He / She / It was
B. You / We / They were

Negative form of the simple past - regular & irregular verb
(did not + infinitive):
She did not work. (√)
She did not worked. (x)
We didn’t go. (√)
We didn’t went. (x)

Negative form of the simple past - be verb
I / He / She / It was not
You / We / They / were not

Compare the positive (+) and negative (-) Past Simple:
(+) I played football. → (-) I did not play hockey.
(+) He saw you. → (-) He did not see us.
(+) Siti went to Rome. → (-) Siti didn’t go to London.

The AzZahra Kids English Programme is a complete and systematic programme with the goal of helping children to read well from a young age. With the tagline “Reading is Fun”, the programme applies the phonics technique. The children learn best when they are having fun. The AzZahra Kids English Programme is specially designed for children as young as four years. It comes in 4 comprehensive levels that can be continued until the children enter their Primary School Years. In additional, it is reasonable for lower, middle and upper income groups.

When your child is three or four years old or whenever he or she is starting to recognize that letter have names and sound, there is so much discovery! AzZahra Kids English Programme helps you as a parent do more than just pass on a love of reading. We make it easy for you to play a role in helping your child understand the building blocks to reading itself, all while having fun together!

Programme Detail

Course fees: RM150
Level: Basic (Ages 5 to 6 who cannot read)
Course start: January, April, July and October
Duration: 18 hours

Teaching methodology:
a) Learn new skills or concepts
b) Practice the concept until it is mastered
c) Play fun games or read great books to apply and reinforce new knowledge.

Assessment: Your child will be evaluated on their performance in listening, reading and speaking tasks. At the end of each course, your child will be given a progress report, which is based on specific learning outcomes.

Success Science

Paper 2 – Structured Question

The table below show the result of the investigation.


1. State the hypothesis tested in the experiment.
Tip: Hypothesis is the relationship between the manipulated variable [what is changed] and the responding variable [what is observed].

2. State the variables involved in this experiment.
i. Manipulated variable
ii. Responding variable
iii. Constant variable
Tip: The manipulated variable and responding variable can be obtained from the table. Constant variable means that if it is changed, the readings of the experiment will be change.

3. Estimate the time taken for the pendulum to make ten complete swings when the length of pendulum is 100cm.
Tip: Student must check the time interval.

4. State the relationship between the times taken for ten complete swings with its length.
Tip: Student have to check the pattern if it is increasing or decreasing.

5. Based on table above, sketch a graph of the pendulum length against the period of the pendulum swing.
Tip: If kind of graph is not stated, student should draw a line graph. Please use ruler to join the points. Mark the points clearly with an “x” symbol.

Effect of Heat on Matter


1. The three (3) states of matter are solids, liquids and gases.
2. Matter can change from one state to another when it gain heat or loses heat.
3. Heat is the energy that determines the movement of particles in matter. If the temperature of matter increases, the particles will get higher kinetic energy to move faster.

4. The changes in the state of matter which take place when substance gain heat are:
a) Melting (ice → water)
b) Boiling (water → steam) / Evaporation (water → water vapour)
c) Sublimation (mothballs → vapour, dry ice [solid carbon dioxide] → carbon dioxide gas)

5. The change in the state of matter which take place when substance loses heat are:
a) Condensation (water vapour → dew)
b) Freezing (water → ice)
c) Sublimation (iodine gas → iodine crystals)

6. Differences between boiling and evaporation:
Boiling
• Gas bubbles are produced
• Happens at boiling point of liquids
• Happens throughout the liquid
• A fast process

Evaporation
• Gas bubbles are not produced
• Happens at all temperatures
• Happens at surface of liquid
• A slow process

Berpindah ke Bangunan Baru

Syukur pada Allah swt, Pusat Tuisyen Az Zahra dapat melangkah satu tapak lagi ke hadapan dengan berpindah ke bangunan baru. Bangunan baru ini terletak di Vantage Point (di hadapan Symphony Park Apartment) dan ianya kurang dari satu kilometer dari bangunan sekarang.

InsyaAllah, tempat baru ini akan mula beroperasi pada 26 Mei 2010 secara keseluruhannya. Ini bermakna semua kelas tuisyen akan diadakan di bangunan baru mulai tarikh tersebut. Harapan pihak pengurusan Pusat Tuisyen Az Zahra agar ibubapa dan pelajar akan terus memberikan sokongan kepada kami di bangunan baru.

We use the Simple Present:
1. To talk about things that happen regularly (habitual action)

2. To talk about facts (general truth)

3. Imperative
We use them (imperative) to tell people what to do, to give people advice, or to give people friendly invitation.

Sentence Construction

Stimuli: One picture with 10 words
Task: Make 5 sentences

Tips to success
  • First, look at the picture carefully and ask yourself what the picture is about.
  • Second, read the given words and try to understand its meaning. You may use the words to help you construct the sentences.
  • Third, construct sentences about the picture. You may write about things that are not show in the picture but related to the picture.
  • Next, keep in mind to write sentences that are grammatically correct. Focus on subject-verb agreement, tenses, articles, pronouns, preposition, punctuation, etc.
  • Furthermore, to make your sentences more interesting, you may use adjective, adverb and conjunction. This will show you have a good awareness of the language.
  • Lastly, use a variety of sentences: simple sentence, compound sentence and complex sentence.

Kelas Intensif (Mathematics) - SPM (Ulangan)

Mulai April 2010, Az Zahra Tuition Centre menyediakan kelas intensif subjek 'Mathematics' bagi pelajar yang akan menduduki peperiksaan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (Ulangan). Kelas diadakan 3 kali seminggu dan jadualnya seperti dibawah:

Khamis - 8.00 hingga 9.30 mlm
